Ghost Pictured in Pub Near Henry VIII’s Haunted Palace<\/h1>\n
Written by Russell Myers in Jan. 2015<\/p>\n Look very closely and you can see that this pub is a favourite haunt of at least one regular.<\/p>\n For in the top-right corner of the grainy image, a tall ghostly figure is pictured lingering in the background of a happy family snap.<\/p>\n Teacher Debbie Monteforte took the photo of her husband Alex and their son Raphael at Christmas.<\/p>\n A family friend said: \u201cDebbie took the pic and thought nothing of it. But when they looked at it on a computer it was plain to see the haunted face of a woman wearing a long dark coat behind them.<\/p>\n \u201cThe family insists there was no one standing behind them and there was no place to hang a coat.<\/p>\n “Even if there was someone standing there, they would have to be 8ft tall to appear like that. It\u2019s beyond spooky.\u201d<\/p>\n The Kings Arms Hotel is one of Britain\u2019s oldest pubs and sits in the shadows of Hampton Court Palace, south west London.<\/p>\n The 300-year-old boozer, near King Henry VIII\u2019s former residence, has a dark past.<\/p>\n In the 19th century, a boy is rumoured to have found his mother hanged in the building. The lad was so disturbed he threw himself out a window and died.<\/p>\n Both \u201cghosts\u201d of the mum and son are said to have haunted the pub ever since.<\/p>\n A grey-haired lady is also said to appear in a bedroom window.<\/p>\n <3 Anna<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Or, Is This A Photo Of An 8-Foot Tall Ghost?
